Fault Line

This platformer, by the lovely Nitrome, has actually been around for a year or so but is currently getting some love on the likes of Kongregate and Newgrounds. You play a georgeous little rhubarb-and-custard colored robot wandering around a slightly nightmarish maze trying to find your way to the exit portals:

The catch is that the maze is impossible to get through, but it's ok! The twist of this game is that you can fold space at selected points, and the skill lies in working out the best way to do this:

Fault Line is a beautifully produced little game, satisfyingly easy at first, but getting progressively harder (ok, I'm stuck in the middle of it at the moment:). Instructions are incorporated stylishly into the first level. The graphics are simple but elegant, gentle physics are used to add extra intensity to the game, but the music is soothing. A great game!

Controls are arrow keys or wasd to move, and mouse to drag the markers to fold or unfold space - sometimes you have to unfold and move at the same time so I recommend wasd... and I recommend this game : )
